iQOO, Vivo‘s sub-brand recently introduced a new smartphone called iQOO U5e, this is a low-cost 5G smartphone, belonging to the U5 series. iQOO U5e is a variant of U5 and U5x launched late last year and early this year.
iQOO U5e is a cheap smartphone, so the appearance of the device is not too strong. The device has a back and frame made of plastic. The frame is squarely designed, and the back has 2 options white and black.
On the front, iQOO equips the U5e with a 6.51-inch LCD screen, HD+ resolution, and a basic 60Hz refresh rate. This screen has an 8MP “waterdrop” selfie camera and has quite thick borders on the bottom edge.
The dual camera cluster of the device placed on the back includes 2 lenses: 13MP wide-angle and 2MP macro, housed in a rectangular module.
In terms of performance, the iQOO U5e comes with the Dimensity 700 processor, MediaTek‘s cheapest 5G-enabled chip, which is equipped by many manufacturers on affordable models. The device has 4GB or 6GB RAM, and 128GB memory. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and supports 18W fast charging with the included charger. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of price, iQOO U5e is on sale in the Chinese market with a starting price of 1399 Yuan, equivalent to $200 for the 4GB/128GB option.
