A smartphone that is not too prominent, apart from the “unique” design: the fingerprint sensor is located inside the rear camera cluster.
Xiaomi has just launched a new low-cost smartphone under the Redmi brand, the full name is Redmi 10C. This phone still has the same “waterdrop” screen design as the previous generation but comes with a square camera cluster that is made much wider and contains a fingerprint sensor.
Redmi 10C has a 6.71-inch screen, supports HD + resolution (720 x 1600 pixels), and uses IPS LCD panels. The device brings hardware power from Snapdragon 680 processor, combined with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB/128GB internal memory, which supports storage expansion with a microSD card.
The phone is equipped with dual cameras on the back, including a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. In addition, the device also has a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. Redmi 10C comes with a 5000mAh battery but only supports 10W charging, with a fingerprint sensor placed inside the camera module.
Redmi 10C will be available soon in Nigeria with prices starting from 188 USD for the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM version, while the more advanced 128GB ROM version is sold for 209 USD. The phone has 3 color options namely Black, Blue, and Green.
