The Realme GT Neo is a slightly downsized version of the Realme GT 5G that debuted not too long ago.
Recently, OPPO’s Realme brand has introduced a new smartphone called Realme GT Neo. This is a cut-down version of the new high-end Realme GT 5G that debuted not too long ago. The advantage of this machine comes from the 120Hz Super AMOLED screen, equipped with a powerful Dimensity 1200 chip, at a fairly cheap price.
In terms of design, the Realme GT Neo looks quite similar to the standard version of Realme GT 5G. Because it is a mid-range smartphone, the device is only equipped with a plastic back instead of a glass and leatherback. The overall design of the machine has not changed too much compared to its “brother”.
The back of the Realme GT Neo is still arranged with the main camera cluster located in the left corner. This back is designed with vibrant and youthful patterns and colors. As for camera parameters, Realme GT Neo comes with a cluster of 3 main cameras including a 64MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP super wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
On the front, the Realme GT Neo retains the 6.43-inch Super AMOLED “mole” screen, Full HD + resolution, and has a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling frequency. The “mole” area is where the 16MP selfie camera is located.
In terms of performance, Realme GT Neo is equipped with a relatively powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip, 6GB / 8GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage. The battery of the machine with a capacity of 4500mAh remains the same as the high-end version, but the fast charging capacity is reduced to only 50W. However, Realme still comes with a 65W fast charger in the box. It runs on a Realme UI 2.0 interface based on ColorOS and Android 11.
The Realme GT Neo will be available on April 7 with 3 color options: Fantasy gradient, Geek Silver, and Hacker Black with a starting price of 1799 yuan, equivalent to 285 USD.
