OPPO today introduced a new low-cost smartphone in the A series called OPPO A16. This is the planned version for the OPPO A15 launched in five months with the main upgrade from the battery.
As a low-cost device of OPPO, the design and function of OPPO A16 are not invested too much by this manufacturer. The product owns the language design that appeared on many OPPO A series before. The device has optional colors for users to choose from blue and silver.
On the front, OPPO A16 is equipped with a 6.52-inch screen, using an IPS LCD panel with a “waterdrop” design, resolution at HD+, and no high refresh rate.
The back of the device features a main camera cluster consisting of three lenses: a 13MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP dual camera, the same as its predecessor A15. Unfortunately, there is no ultra-wide camera. The device has an additional 8MP camera on the front.
In terms of performance, OPPO A16 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 chip, about 10% more powerful than the Helio P35 chip on its predecessor. The RAM of the device is 4GB and there is 64GB of internal memory.
Upgrade the main element of this year’s OPPO A16 from a battery when OPPO has upgraded the 4230mAh battery of the A15 to 5000mAh on the A16, but keeping the capacity to 10W. The device runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11 interface.
